Important update for trekkers, guides, travel agencies, and visitors planning to enter the Annapurna and Manaslu Conservation Areas.
The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) – Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) has issued an Urgent Notice regarding the issuance of entry permits for the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) and Manaslu Conservation Area (MCA).
According to the official notice, based on weather forecasts, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in various parts of Nepal from 24 September to 28 September 2026.
The dates correspond to 8–10 Ashwin 2083 B.S.
The restriction applies to the issuance of ACA/MCA entry permits during the period specified in the notice. Travelers should check with their trekking agency, guide, or the relevant authorities for the latest information before traveling.

As per the directive received, all concerned are requested not to issue Annapurna / Manaslu Conservation Area (ACA/MCA) Entry Permits from 24 September to 26 September 2026, until further notice.The dates correspond to 8–10 Ashwin 2083 B.S.
