We chose to travel by bike, which added an extra layer of adventure in the trip. The road to Jiri via the Lamosangu-Ramechhap Highway is in good condition and is even scooter-friendly. We started at 7 AM, followed by some initial riding and then a refreshing tea break in the cool breeze and scenic views of hills and rivers that came our way. The ride was also enjoyable, with winding roads opening up breathtaking landscapes. Around noon, we took a lunch break to recharge for the onward journey.

After about 6-7 hours of riding in the evening-sooner if one is a fast rider-we reached Jiri. This is about 4 to 6 PM. When we arrived, we checked into a cozy hotel in Jiri village for the night.
