The road leading to Kulekhani was a mix of winding paths, rocky stretches, and scenic views of lush hills and rural life, which added to the thrill of the journey.</p><p></p><p>Kulekhani Dam stood as an impressive sight, its calm waters contrasting beautifully with the rugged surroundings.</p><p>After a short stop to enjoy the scenery, we continued our ride.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]847[/ATTACH]</p><h3>From Kulekhani, it took us about 40 minutes to reach Markhu via the roads.</h3><p>The stretch offered stunning views of the lake, with glimpses of terraced fields and small settlements along the way. Once we reached Markhu, we couldn’t resist the chance to try power boating on Indrasarovar Lake. The 15-minute session, costing<strong> NPR 400</strong> per person (minimum 4 people), was exhilarating, as the boat cut through the still waters surrounded by the serene environment. Markhu was peaceful, with few visitors since it was a weekday, making it an ideal time to enjoy the quiet beauty of the place.</p><p></p><p>Before leaving, we ate<strong> fish fry</strong> caught directly from the dam for just <strong>NPR 350</strong>.
