The Best place to go near Kathmandu valley. I just love the place. You will witness the majestic mountains. And if you make it on time to the peak, you will withness another beauty of ama yangri - sun rise to the mountains.
And i will recommed whoever going to Ama yangri to stay at Chyomunthang Resort. you will only need to walk 2-3 hrs from this resort to the peak of ama yangri. There are lots of other hotels also but they are 4-5 km far or downhill from the chyomunthang resort. which would take 4-6 hrs to reach the peak. And you might not make it on time to witness the sunrise.
Also if you are lucky enough, you will get to see musk deer ( we saw deer after we cross the 7km board to chyomunthang resort, Gray langurs ( way to timbu new road or recently opened way from tarkegyang) And lots of birds : danfe and other species.
