So, where do people run in Kathmandu?
Are travelers in Thamel looking to maintain their running routine? The Ranibari Park is the perfect jogging and running spot near Thamel.
It is a community forest nearby.
It's just 2.2km away from the central Thamel. Situated on the northern side of Kathmandu.
It's called Ranibari, and it's a premise of the divine goddess Porpa Ajima/पोर्पा अजिमा.
You may take a cab to reach there (7mins drive) or take a walk (30mins or less) via main Road From Lazimpat (turn left from Old Shangrila Hotel), then you will reach directly to the Samakhusi Area. Ask locals for easy access.
