Hello Sumi,
There are various active groups within the valley who have been practicing such genres of Newari Music.
Such groups perform various Newari ensembles ranging from Dapa Hymns to Baya: cha: to Basuri Ensembles etc during weddings.
Traditionally, Baya:cha: ensemble and Basuri Ensemble accompany the wedding procession.
But in the present times, Baya:cha: is rarely seen whereas Basuri ensembles have been actively performing during wedding seasons.
