New National Identity Card (Digital ID card)

Have you applied for the new National Identity Card?​

I heard the Citizenship card we are using will be replaced by the new digitalized National ID card.
In case you have not applied yet for the New National ID card. Here is the requirement for the New ID card.

• take an original copy of the citizenship card of the one who applying and his/her parents ( both mom and dad)
• take a password with you if you have
• if you are married, you will need a marriage certificate too.
• 1/2 pp size photo

New National Identity card will have :​

• Retina scan
• Fingerprints
• signature

And if you are in Bhaktapur, check to the ward office of your area, as I'm from ward 3, Bhaktapur Nagar Palika, and if outside Bhaktapur check to the municipality or ward office near you.
