[Blog] My Best Ride Yet at 16! Ride to Captain Regmi's Farmhouse, Kakani, Suryachaur 2025

The event was sponsored by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/liquimolynepal/" target="_blank"><strong>Liqui Moly Nepal</strong></a><strong>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/snackon_np/https://www.instagram.com/snackon_np/" target="_blank">Snack On Nepal</a>, and </strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/wildsportss/" target="_blank"><strong>Wildsportss</strong></a>, who provided us with <strong>stickers, face masks, and energy bars</strong>—a perfect addition for a long ride.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The <strong>call time</strong> was <strong>7:00 AM sharp</strong> at <a href="https://www.instagram.com/thegarage.np/" target="_blank"><strong>The Garage Nepal</strong></a><strong>, Naxal</strong>. By <strong>7:45 AM</strong>, breakfast was served, fueling us up for the ride ahead. We officially hit the road by <strong>8:45 AM</strong>.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]881[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Our first destination was <strong>Suryachaur</strong>, a stunning viewpoint <strong>50 minutes away from Naxal</strong>. We made a quick fuel stop in <strong>Tokha</strong> before arriving. Once there, we took a short break, snapped some <strong>group photos</strong>, and captured breathtaking <strong>drone shots</strong>.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">This was <strong>Turtle Adventure’s third organized ride</strong>, and my <strong>second</strong> time joining them. This time, the group had many <strong>talented and passionate riders</strong>, which made the ride even more special for me.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">From Suryachaur, we headed towards <strong>Kakani</strong>, tackling a <strong>challenging off-road trail</strong> that required solid <strong>off-road riding skills</strong>. The route was <strong>demanding yet rewarding</strong>, as we navigated through rough trails and stunning landscapes.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">At one point, we <strong>lost our way</strong>, adding an element of adventure to the ride! Since it was <strong>everyone's first time visiting Captain Regmi's Farmhouse</strong>, we had to rely on teamwork and navigation skills to get back on track.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Finally, at <strong>1:25 PM</strong>, we arrived at <strong>Captain Regmi's Farmhouse</strong>—a breathtaking property spanning <strong>107 aana</strong>. The location was perfect for relaxing and refueling after the long ride.</li> </ul><p></p><p>We enjoyed a <strong>fantastic lunch break until 3:00 PM</strong>, then geared up for the ride back to Kathmandu. By <strong>3:15 PM</strong>, we were back on our bikes, making our way home via <strong>Balaju Road</strong>. Unfortunately, due to <strong>ongoing road construction</strong>,<u> we had to wait until <strong>5:00 PM</strong> before resuming the journey. </u>Eventually, we reached <strong>The Garage Nepal, Naxal</strong>, marking the end of an incredible day.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]880[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>This ride was a true test of endurance and skill, and it gave me a glimpse of how unpredictable these adventures can be. I was genuinely surprised to see a rider join the ride on a <strong>Yamaha R15</strong>, a bike not designed for off-road trails. Despite the challenges, they managed to keep up, which was impressive!
